Nora Mulvehill, a final year undergraduate student studying History and Art History at Trinity College Dublin, joined Art History Link-Up for six-weeks thanks to the Laidlaw Foundation's Leadership in Action scheme. It was a pleasure to have Nora on the team and she did valuable work researching art history resources and building our alumni connections. So we are delighted to read that Nora enjoyed the summer and that working with us reinforced her love of art history. Read her blog on the Laidlaw Scholars' website here
We believe art history should be for everyone, however fewer than 1% of state supported secondary schools offer Art History A Level. As a result, there is a lack of diversity in the arts sector and an increasing skills shortage. We are the only charity offering formal Art History teaching to school-aged students from all backgrounds. Your financial support will ensure that everyone has an opportunity to study art history: together we can transform the future of the arts.
