At Art History Link-Up, we are committed to promoting sustainable practices that protect and preserve the environment for future generations. As an organisation dedicated to education and cultural enrichment, we recognise our responsibility to minimise our environmental impact and lead by example in the community we serve.
Our Commitments:
Reducing Carbon Footprint
We aim to minimise our energy consumption and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through efficient use of resources in our offices and at all events. This includes promoting remote working and virtual meetings to cut down on travel-related emissions.
Waste Reduction
We are committed to reducing waste by promoting digital resources and minimising the use of printed materials where possible. Recycling and responsible disposal of materials will be encouraged at all levels of our operations.
Sustainable Procurement
We will prioritize the purchase of environmentally friendly products, from office supplies to event materials, ensuring they are sustainably sourced and ethically produced.

Art History is under threat
We believe art history should be for everyone, however fewer than 1% of state supported secondary schools offer Art History A Level. As a result, there is a lack of diversity in the arts sector and an increasing skills shortage. We are the only charity offering formal Art History teaching to school-aged students from all backgrounds. Your financial support will ensure that everyone has an opportunity to study art history: together we can transform the future of the arts.
